Bathing in Les iles

Valais a stone throw away from Lausanne is slowly creating a name for itself and cementing a plaque in the touristic arena. The newly built AliaBay has attracted people from all over. But Valais, unknown too most, has always been  a sanctuary for the rich. Those who can afford to skip work for a few weeks, huddled up in their chalets and spent the winters skiing or pretending to ski. This place has a lot to offer, all year round. In summer Les Iles is where all the locals head to. In the vicinity of Sion, the canton's capital, Les iles is a big enough natural lake nestled in the plains surrounded by the mountains that Valais proudly hosts.
The area is home to the Sion tennis club, a restaurant, a mini-train and now Alaiabay. Next to the recreational area is a camping ground. Toilet facilities, grill and parking are just some of the amenities that the bourgeoisie provided.
A great place for picnics and more.
