Valais a stone throw away from Lausanne is slowly creating a name for itself and cementing a plaque in the touristic arena. The newly built AliaBay has attracted people from all over. But Valais, unknown too most, has always been a sanctuary for the rich. In summer Les Iles is where all the locals head to. In the vicinity of Sion, the canton's capital, Les iles is a big enough natural lake nestled in the plains surrounded by the mountains that Valais proudly hosts.
